An update on COVID-19 for Outback 365 and Hydropool Ireland Customers.
In light of the government announcements, we recognise we are in the middle of a public health emergency. We feel that it is an appropriate time for us as a business to pause and think about how, as individuals, we can reduce our risks of catching or passing on this virus.
Our priority during this difficult time is to ensure the safety of our employees, our customers and ensure as a business; we continue to fulfil our orders and provide the aftercare service and support that our customers require.
We have now implemented some changes in how we conduct our business.
Retail Operations. Our showrooms are large, mainly outdoors and not crowded, ensuring any visitors can be a safe distance from each other. We have asked staff to stay at home if they show any symptoms and we are asking customers to avoid the showroom if they are feeling symptomatic. We already operate with the highest safety standards and have further enhanced our process with rigorous, cleaning and disinfecting of all surfaces. When handling money and card machines, we are now asking all customers to sanitise before and after use and use contactless where possible.
Installation Operations. We are constantly in communication and receiving regular updates from Hydropool Inc regarding output, current stock levels and current transport progress. We are confident in their approach to handling this situation. We believe we can still deliver and install our hot tubs with minimal interaction. Hot Tubs can be installed, commissioned and sanitised before departing by our engineers. We can provide Quick Start Guides on how to operate your hot tub, and we can give further advice over the phone.
To our existing customers, please continue to use your hot tub during this time! More than ever we need some time out to escape, unwind and relax. According to the Centres For Disease and Prevention (CDC) there is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of hot tubs. (see our Facebook post for further details). Our showroom will remain open for you to purchase your essential hot tub chemicals but would kindly ask you to respect our new hygiene routine. We are also offering FREE NI delivery on all chemicals and filter orders over £50 to ensure you can maintain and use your hot tubs through any self-isolation period. Orders can be placed on our respected websites.
To our customers who have installation dates, if you or someone in your household is displaying signs of the virus or are self-isolating, we would kindly ask that you contact us in advance to allow us to prepare or reschedule adequately.
We fully support the government’s advice, and no one can predict what the next set of restrictions will be. We are a resilient bunch here in Hydropool Ireland and already have thought of different ways that we can continue to operate and reduce our risks even further. We foresee stricter implementations coming, and we will keep you updated as we go along.
All of us at Hydropool Ireland are confident that the collective efforts and sacrifices that every one of us is now making to contain the virus will bring a swift conclusion to the outbreak, and that things return to normal as soon as possible.
